Q: How far in advance should I book my wedding or reception?
A: To secure your choice of dates, we recommend you contact our Wedding Professionals approximately a year in advance. The minimum is generally six weeks.

Q: How much will it cost?
A: The Essex is happy to customize your event based on your budget. The cost will vary considerably based on your menu choices, the selection of venue, and other personal touches you desire.

Q: How many people can I invite?
A: The Essex has a number of tastefully-appointed, flexible spaces designed to accommodate your wedding and/or reception, with capacities from 4 to 400:

Q: Can I have my bachelor/bachelorette party at The Essex as well?
A: YES. We will gladly speak with you about planning any special event you desire, from bachelorette party to the ceremony to the reception.

Q: I have a considerable number of guests coming from out of town. Is there a special overnight rate available?
A: YES. When you speak with our Reservations Specialists, they can review all the available rates.

Q: Do you offer alternative menus?
A: YES. We gladly accommodate vegetarians, vegans, and individuals who are gluten- or lactose-intolerant. We can also offer a number of selections for people with specific food allergies.

Q: Will I have somewhere that I can get my hair and makeup done?
A: YES. In the moments leading up to your special day, we offer services to ease your mind and rejuvenate your body. Our Salon experts will work with you to design a program that caters to your every need, including hair consultation, veil fitting, and makeup trials. On the day of your event, enjoy your own specialized makeup application and hair styling, or choose from any of our Bridal Packages.
