Cook Academy.
Our admissions department is standing by to accept your application to this one-of-a-kind Vermont culinary institute. (Don't worry, everyone
is accepted.) Just sign up for the classes that interest you and we guarantee you will graduate with high honors.
The faculty of Cook Academy is second-to-none, and the low student-teacher ratio ensures you get plenty of personal attention.
Work on your knife skills, learn how to cook an Italian feast, or grab a glass of your favorite wine as you perfect the art of grilling.
Our Essex Junction Vermont culinary school is a low-pressure, fun way to learn cooking techniques.
The best part is, your diploma is the delicious meal that you create and enjoy! And we even provide copies of the recipes for you to enjoy at
home.

Chef's Kitchen
During this private dining event, one of our skilled chefs will create a four-course menu based upon your preferences then prepare and serve a
custom dining experience to remember. Enhance your experience further with the addition of customized wine pairings by our Certified Wine
Specialists. This overnight room package is based upon availability and requires a 48 hour minimum advance notice.
Chef-In-Training
Hands-on and interactive, this three-course dinner demonstration brings out the chef in all of us! Taught by one of our highly acclaimed
chefs, you will take home new techniques and recipes as well as sit down and savor your own creations.
Our Faculty:
Chef Kerri Bouffard
Chef Bouffard graduated from New England Culinary Institute before becoming tournant chef at the Hilton
Resort in Key West, Florida. From there, she moved to New York to be sous chef at the famed Brasserie in midtown
Manhattan. Longing to return to her native Vermont, Chef Bouffard joined the staff at The Essex Resort to
combine her lifelong passions of teaching and cooking.
