Executive Chef David Coolidge
Burlington-born Chef Coolidge grew up in Los Angeles before traveling back home to graduate from New England Culinary Institute and joining the staff at The Essex in 2000. An American Culinary Federation silver medal award-winning instructor, Chef Coolidge specializes in approachable, creative cuisine, incorporating Vermont products as much as possible. He was appointed Executive Chef of The Essex Resort & Spa in the fall of 2009.
